Her favorite part of being an immigration lawyer is the creative problem-solving and story-telling process. She approaches legal writing as she does cooking: she enjoys taking stock of all the available ingredients and figuring out how to develop them into a beautiful dish that packs a punch! As the components and end product differ with each case, her job is never boring. She derives great satisfaction from the constant challenge of improving her technique to satisfy adjudicators’ ever-changing palates.
Nadine also thinks of herself as a wordsmith responsible for developing compelling narratives for her clients. Working with people from all walks of life and around the world has broadened her horizons. She enjoys working with clients as it gives her the opportunity to learn about various occupations and witness the evolution of immigration stories. As an immigrant herself, she knows that the legal aspect is one of the many hurdles that foreign nationals must overcome to resettle in America. She finds it a privilege to be trusted with laying the legal foundation for their journeys.
