VISA APPLICATION CENTRES IN INDIA TO ALLOW FREE SUBMISSIONS FOR INTERVIEW WAIVERS

The United States Visa Applicant Centre (VAC) is now allowing applicants in India to submit interview waiver applications for free at any embassy or consulate.

If an applicant qualifies for an interview waiver or drop box submission for US visa stamping, they can now drop off interview waiver applications for free at any of the VAC drop box locations or consular offices, regardless of the applicant’s scheduled location.

If none of the free locations are suitable, applicants can drop off applications at other VAC-approved locations for a fee of 650 Indian rupees (INR) per passport. The fee must be paid in cash and should be submitted with all other forms required for the visa application.

Below is a list of VAC approved locations for drop-off and pickup services.
