On August 21, 2023, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) introduced a new online form for individuals and legal representatives to request in-person appointments at local offices for ADIT stamps, Emergency Advance Parole, Immigration Judge Grants, and more.
Prior to the launch of the Online Appointment Request Form, appointment requests could only be made by calling the USCIS Contact Center. Now, individuals and legal representatives can make the request online with their preferred time and day of the week. The Contact Center then reviews the requests and schedules the in-person appointment based on appointment availability. Depending on the appointment reason and urgency, the Contact Center may contact the requestor by phone or email using the reference number provided at the time in which the request was submitted.
This new initiative aims to streamline the appointment scheduling process by collecting the necessary details upfront, demonstrating USCIS's commitment to improving the agency’s customer experience, in line with the Executive Order on Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery.
