November 2024 Visa Bulletin - Filing Dates and Final Action Dates for Employment-Based Visa Applications

Introduction

The United States Department of State (DOS) has released the November 2024 Visa Bulletin. Following it, the USCIS announced that they will use Dates for Filing to accept employment-based adjustment of status applications.

Dates for Filing

The Dates for Filing for employment-based visa applications in the November 2024 Visa Bulletin remain the same as released in the October 2024 Visa Bulletin. The specific dates are as follows:

• EB-1: India remains at April 15, 2022, and China remains at January 1, 2023. All other countries remain current
• EB-2: India remains at January 1, 2013, and China remains at October 1, 2020 . All other countries remain at August 1, 2023.
• EB-3 Professionals and Skilled Workers: India remains at June 8, 2013, while China remains at November 15, 2020. All other countries remain at March 1, 2023.
• EB-5 Unreserved categories (C5, T5, I5, and R5): India remains at April 1, 2022, and China remains at October 1, 2016. Other countries remain current.
• EB-5 set-aside categories such as Rural, High Unemployment, and Infrastructure remain current for all countries.

Final Action Dates

The November 2024 Visa Bulletin has determined the following Final Action cutoff dates for issuance of an employment-based immigrant visa or approval of an adjustment of status application based on an employment-based immigrant petition.
