Making Difference in People's Life: Attorney Ashima Chock

Ashima Chock is a Partner and Attorney in our firm’s Houston, Texas office.

Her favorite part of the job is being able to make a difference. She enjoys working with people, so it is nice to be able to work together and also have fun together. She truly feels like in a family here.

She entered legal field as she saw her mom in a bad situation because her lawyer did not handle her pension case well. She was still in school but she knew she could do a better job and realized that it is more than just a case and one decision can have a lifelong impact on others so she wanted to make it matter and do what she could to help.

Her favorite part about working with clients is being able to contribute to their passion. Some of her clients are truly amazing and what they are doing will leave an impact for generations to come. Then she has others who were going through a difficult situation and with little help and guidance in making their way through legal maze have done really well, so it is a good feeling of accomplishment, and she truly feels very happy for them.
